I talked to J. Pirkle 2 weeks ago and he is currently not doing any work at all. He told me he is looking for a permanent job that actually pays the bills. He is not sure if he will even be coming to Corvettes at Carlisle.

I looked through old threads trying to find the same answer. Pirkle was one who came up but turn around was really slow.
another said Bruno was slow too and grumpy. I found these 2 recommended by members of this site. I'm still trying to figure out what to do. Kuhn Auto Electric Al Kuhn 717-632-4197 AM-FOR Auto Electric Souderton, Pa. Jim Gill 215-723-4877.

Since then (5 years+ ago) we've never had a problem and I confidently recommend his work regularly. He, like many other car-crazy entrepreneurs in the restoration business, are a one man show. His product is fully functional both mechanically and on the show field. Good luck. Dan

Believe it not, I used a local place in NJ, Edison Generator. They don't do any case finishing, other than paint, but I had them put in a higher amp rating. Took the 37 amp to 70 or 80 Amps. They are an old school shop, so I am sure they will work with you if you want to do the case finishing a certain way. It was around $125 - $150, pretty sure.
