Stolen 1970 Dodge Daytona
I just received an email from an insurance agent that one of his client's vehicles, a 1970 Dodge Daytona was stolen recently in the San Francisco Bay Area.

One of the long rumored 'factory' '70 Daytonas perhaps?.
Nahhh...that same Vin appears elsewhere online for sale as the '70 Daytona replica it obviously is (was?)..  ~ Pete -------------------- I like real cars best...especially the REAL real ones!

Perhaps you mean Charger 500? A car with that name had a NASCAR connection and was available in a different form in 1970.

That looks like the flush back glass like a Charger 500. Then again, I'm no Mopar expert.

When you say "long rumored," does that mean the two '70 Daytons "built with 1970 sheet metal" referenced by Wikipedia have not been verified to exist? I though one was "sitting in a yard in PA"? JB Wikipedia Charger Page
