Looks like a plain 318 hardtop to me. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
Sucks either way. Hope it gets rescued in one piece. |
Re: Stolen 1970 Dodge Daytona
One of the long rumored 'factory' '70 Daytonas perhaps?.
Nahhh...that same Vin appears elsewhere online for sale as the '70 Daytona replica it obviously is (was?).. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smirk.gif ~ Pete -------------------- I like real cars best...especially the REAL real ones! |

did they check the pistons?

Re: Stolen 1970 Dodge Daytona
Perhaps you mean Charger 500? A car with that name had a NASCAR connection and was available in a different form in 1970.

Re: Stolen 1970 Dodge Daytona
That looks like the flush back glass like a Charger 500. Then again, I'm no Mopar expert.

Re: Stolen 1970 Dodge Daytona
Pete,
When you say "long rumored," does that mean the two '70 Daytons "built with 1970 sheet metal" referenced by Wikipedia have not been verified to exist? I though one was "sitting in a yard in PA"? JB Wikipedia Charger Page |
