The calipers I removed from my '70 Chevelle are 636 and 637. From what I find, they are for a Camaro ? Side by side they are nearly identical to the 700-701 Chevelle calipers. The 700-701 castings are thicker so there is a physical appearance difference that would not be seen on a car.
Question is, would the 636/637 calipers have been installed on a 1970 Oshawa Chevelle ? If not, I'll have a nice set for sale. They are painted black with what seems to be Red Oxide under it too. Original, or not ?
