![]() I recently came across some paperwork I did'nt realize I had for the purchase of a new GTO in the spring of 1967. If I owned the car, I would dearly love to have it and am trying to find the current owner. I sold it in the spring of 1969, as I was getting out of the service at Fort Hood, TX. The guy I sold it to was named George from NJ and he was the clerk in the company I was in. Is there a GTO registry, or does PHS keep track of current owners? The car was a gold 4 speed and the VIN is 242177P100948. Any help would be appreciated. |

Recommend you contact Jim Mattison of the Pontiac Historical Society (PHS). If current owner didn't have your paperwork there is a good chance that he has contacted PHS for a copy of the build record.
Good luck.

![]() It was a Gold, 4 speed car. Had Cragers on it when I sold it. I still have the original caps and wheels from it. |
