Find current owner of 67 GTO
 

I recently came across some paperwork I did'nt realize I had for the purchase of a new GTO in the spring of 1967.
If I owned the car, I would dearly love to have it and am trying to find the current owner.

I sold it in the spring of 1969, as I was getting out of the service at Fort Hood, TX. The guy I sold it to was named George from NJ and he was the clerk in the company I was in.

Is there a GTO registry, or does PHS keep track of current owners?

The car was a gold 4 speed and the VIN is 242177P100948.

Any help would be appreciated.

Recommend you contact Jim Mattison of the Pontiac Historical Society (PHS). If current owner didn't have your paperwork there is a good chance that he has contacted PHS for a copy of the build record.

Was this car white with black vinyl top, power windows, pwr seat, AC, etc...?

It was a Gold, 4 speed car. Had Cragers on it when I sold it. I still have the original caps and wheels from it.
