Guys, I would like to get some ideas from you. I am planning on taking my 68 out to the races this weekend. Last time I did so 2 yr ago I had great difficulty removing the built up burnout rubber from the lower quarter panel. Are there any tricks of the trade or products that make this removal easyier and reduce risk of paint damage?

we did that to... you can also if the car has wheel trim buy some cheesy stainless mud flaps and drill them to hit the factory holes..that way you wont chip the paint

A rag with WD-40 on it will wipe it right off...

They also make a clear plastic protector that fits the shape of the 1/4 panel.
I know they make them for Mid-Year Vettes... I would think Camaros too?
