Anything is possible, but it is very unlikely. I have howeve,r seen an early 1967 SS 350 A/C car with a 10 bolt non posi which was coded correctly and believed original.

Thanks Stefano
I was sure that was the case. I'm looking at a car that appears to be an original 69 396 SS, but it does have a 10 bolt.It has the right hood, heater core, etc. Thanks Again

I would question it as I have not seen a big block Camaro with a 10 bolt from the factory until 1971. Check the stamping on the rh axle tube on the leading edge. Contact the CRG at www.camaros.org and give them the information. They can help you the best. It is possible that it is an SS396 but that the rear end has been changed..................RatPack...............
