OK,

Here is the question....

Assuming originality (I dont have a clue about these) Cap one has a ridge partial on the lift tab but cap two has a ridge all the way on the lift tab.

Does anyone know the application of these or any other info. one is off a 67 and one is off a 70. What about the different numbers underneath??

Thanks

The numbers are cavity numbers - those caps were shot in multiple-cavity injection molds, and each individual cavity was numbered for internal traceability.

The partial ridge cap is correct for 1969 and previous years; not exactly sure how far back. The full ridge cap is correct for 1970 and up.
