You are right sir. Only that was a regular 455 4bbl not an SD.
This particular car is awesome: rare color and perfect restoration.
Just for info, a four speed 73 SD T/A in need of restoration sold for $125K two weeks ago

The SD-455 was available in both the Trans Am and the Formula. The Formula, though rarer, does not bring the same $$$ as the T/A. Less snazzy looking though it does have the shaker unit. Four speed cars bring a premium over automatics, though you could not get a/c with a four speed.
There are some people out there who say the 71 and 72 455HO's were faster (especially the people who own them
