You guys are right on the mark (as always). My car did come with the Camaro style shift handle and it is clearly stamped on both sides of the handle with the "Hurst" name.
I know it seems like Don used different parts in building our cars but I guess he was just doing what any small businessman does when you have to get something done you use what you have available at the time. So even though our cars all are basically the same, they still have samll individual differences.
By the way, I just read the article on Joe Barr and his car. If you are tuned in here Joe, I want to say many kudos to you, your great looking car and the terrific Yenko collection that you have put together.
