Normally there would be a Month and Year digits decals to the right and left of the main sticker body.

After re-reading your Car history, I am confused by the New York references. The Naval Yard in N.Y. was called: United States Naval Shipyard, Brooklyn and New York Naval Shipyard at various points in its history.

Interesting indeed, and thanks for the info on the windshield decal. Seems my car may have spent some time in California which is news to me but importantly its all part of discovering the chain of ownership. Thanks very much for your post!

Post Script: My shop partner suggested one possibility is that the car had a used windshield from the same donor Camaro that contributed the other front end parts following a collision in the early '70s. Can't say for sure, research is needed.
