Gregg, with the hard top off you can see if it has the release latch/holes for a soft top attachment. If not, it was a hard top only car. It could have been a Brass Hat car and used by an executive for a few months. It then could have been steeply discounted and sold to the GM employee. A tank sticker with the dealer/zone code may help confirm that. I see some interesting GM documents with unusual delivery instructions on them.
