Check the clutch fork for wear on the inside where the throw-out bearing is placed.

If you can compare the fork to a known good one or new gm one, i have seen them bend - esp anything aftermarket

I would use the over the counter clutch and pressure plate set up from oriellys auto or similar....

Lastly - check that pilot bushing - worth just replacing it if u pull the trans - get the bronze bushing.

One more item, if u resurface the flywheel - have them balance the flywheel and clutch set-up all together....
