Re: Musclecar Photographs mrays
This 65 Malibu SS was advertised as an original L79 car that was sold new in Amarillo TX. I was a nice restoration, but I don't believe red lines were available in '65. It sold for $41.5K.
This 67 Chevelle SS was a special paint car that was advertised as having a restamped L34 and a TH400. It sold for $54K.
This 67 Chevelle SS was advertised as a numbers matching 4 speed car that was documented with a POP. It was bid to $49K.
This 70 Chevelle SS was advertised as a numbers matching L78 car with an M21 and 3.55 gears that was documented with 2 build sheets. It sold for $83K.
This 70 Chevelle SS LS6 was advertised as a numbers matching car with an M22 that was built at the Baltimore plant. I don't have any results on this one.
This 70 Chevelle SS was advertised as an original LS6 with a replacement CE block and an M22. It was bid to $85K.
This 70 El Camino SS was advertised as an original LS6 car with a TH400 and 4.10 gears. I was restored by Legendary Motorcars. It sold for $75K.
This 70 Chevelle SS LS6 was advertised as a numbers matching car with an M22 and 4.10 gears and was documented with a build sheet. It sold for $105K.
This 70 Chevelle SS LS6 was advertised as a numbers matching car with an M22 and 3.31 gears and was documented with a build sheet. It sold for $100K.
This 70 Chevelle SS LS6 was advertised as an unrestored car with 16K miles and had it's original engine that was backed by a TH400 and a 3.31 geared rearend. It had an Ivory bench seat interior and was documented with 4 build sheets. This car has been discussed on here before and I believe the rocker trim was added by a previous owner early in it's life. It sold for $80K.
This 70 Chevelle SS LS6 was advertised as an unrestored car with 15K miles and had it's original engine that was backed by a TH400. It was documented with a POP and window sticker. It sold for $60K. I believe this car was later determined to be an old restoration from the 80's and not an unrestored car.
This 71 Chevelle SS LS5 convertible was advertised as a numbers matching car with an M22 and was documented with 2 build sheets and a POP. It sold for $72.5K.
