To answer the rest of your questions, it was originally a 283 which blew up in 68 and they replaced it with a 327 and I have the documents on the replacement. Does any one know how to decode these...

thanks for responding, the docs show vinyl and the door panels are vinyl.And I did look for the tag under the rear seat and it says gm a body. the car was sold by belmont chevrolet weston on.Stu...
