He said on the side of the block there is a casting mark "KTT CST"

The hood was bought from either S&N or S&S Fiberglass directly back in 1968.

He loves Camaros, has resorted 5-8 of them and has boxes of original parts.

He said the freeze plugs are tap in or press in not screw in type.

Just to explain the reason for the questions is my Dad is trying to get his Camaro ready for a car show and I am helping him make the poster for it and wanted to be correct in identifying the motor.

My Dad got that hood in 1968 if I remember correctly, just a fiberglass hood.

The intake does not match the ZL-1, we know that. It is some high flow intake with rectangular ports.

Where is the date on the block?

I know he said the guy removed the VIN from the block and put his own number on it but I told my dad he might be able to do some kind or acid etching to bring the...
