I am happy to report that John of Badbowtiess has agreed to buy the car back. He informed me he did not know the car was not a number car. My faith in the hobby is restored.

Engine re-stamp gone to far?
I have not posted on here in about a year, in truth because i was pretty down on the hobby after the last car i sold had questions about the paperwork ( L78 Camaro) bought the car as a numbers...

The car is a very straight car. I dont think there is a scratch on the car. The vin# is there by the oil filter and not a re-stamp. I got the car a few years back from a collector i trust. The car...

Not a problem. I did the same thing 2 plus years ago when i bought the car. And before i listed it i asked a few guys here the same thing. The flash on my cheap camera really makes it look a bit...

The car has a lot of doc's to back up the trim tag. I own the car and would welcome any comments. I have gone over every number on this car (as far as motor, rear ect..) and they match and are not...

Why would it be "50/50" if its stamped by the oil filter? If the Vin# is there and its correct, matches paperwork ect.. then i would think thats enough.
