Re: 1969 Daytona Yellow SS396 L78 Chevelle Build
Dan,
Grady had some original engine ID stickers on original valve covers for 69 BB that were white with red letters. Is the yellow with black letters correct for 69 Chevelle? Anyone? Phil Woj. |
Re: 1969 Daytona Yellow SS396 L78 Chevelle Build
Good question Phil......it's one one those parts - out of site out of mind. Perhaps Grady can post a picture. Perhaps a plant specific decal

Re: 1969 Daytona Yellow SS396 L78 Chevelle Build
I took pix of some survivor valve covers that Grady had some years back. Might have lost them in a previous computer crash.
Anyhow, I made these after seeing what he had. Let me know if you want one. I think the small blocks got the yellow with red or black lettering and the big blocks white with red letters. I'm sure someone here knows for sure. Phil http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...psngjszd0k.jpg |

I have a set of BBC chrome covers but they do not have the attachment points for plug harness ... any ideas what they came off of? TAZ
