MM.....and Stefano...LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) is one of the major drugs making up the hallucinogen class. LSD was discovered in 1938 and is one of the most potent mood-changing chemicals. It is manufactured from lysergic acid, which is found in ergot, a fungus that grows on rye and other grains.Check the back yard of these guys for gardens !!! So thats what Stefano puts in your drink when you show up to take a look at his cars. When I walked by the garage into the house when I first arrived they were copos. After some water and coversation we went out to look and they had yenko stripes. My head was a little woosy but I think on the radio was a comercial for some chevrolet dealer called Douglass.I was confused so I didn't buy anything. Many people have told me that I need to be medicated, but it was only their professional opinions.

Hey COPO, I found this picture of the car you are thinking of in south Georgia. This car used to belong to a guy I worked with and he sold it to someone down around Augusta. This is the same car that is in the magazine article above. I knew I had a couple of pictures of it.

BTW sixtiesmuscle what happened to this car? Have you restored it?. I should have never passed on that car. Oh well maybe next time I will be a little wiser ..............RatPack.......................

I think this was covered in another post, but, Kevin S. purchased the car, and, is having the restoration finished.

Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Conversion?

I'll post some pictures in a couple weeks when it is done. Mike had most of the hard work already done when I acquired it, with the exception of paint. Originally a Hugger Orange car from the factory, it was re-painted 3 additional different colors in it's life; white, blue, with black having been the last color. In the magazine articles you can see it was re-painted white with the owners name/logo etc. Motion Performance did the very extensive (3 pages of invoices) 427 ZLX 650 HP Phase III conversion, but did not re-paint it. Therefore, I chose to put it back to it's original Factory color of Hugger Orange, as the white re-paint was not included in the Motion invoices.
