Tim, whats the old saying, ya snooze ya loose? Hell, I wasnt even Taking a cat nap! Minutes do count. Enjoyed the conversation, will take your advice about the mindset. Talk to you soon about the other long lost project. Congradulations to the new owner.

No this one was out of east GA.Matt on these SUPERCARS it usually doesn't go past the first email or phone call.It helps to have or sell unseen SUPERCARS and we have a knack for finding them. This was one of my favorites. Thanks Mike Thanks bbdon for posting the article. Now Mike what do I find you to replace that? Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Conversion?

Naturally, the mystique and key for any Motion Car whether it is from Baldwin or others, is that it was performance modified by Motion. A car that was merely sold by Baldwin without being modified by Motion was just another ordinary car. To answer the specific question; yes, a street car sold through Baldwin and modified by Motion is more valuable than a car from another dealer and then modified by Motion.

This ZL/X MOTION Camaro is in a different arena. You can't ignore the fact that this is a ZL/X 427 Phase III 427 with Tunnel Ram and dual 1050 CFM Holley's, which is not something that your average guy off the street would order at Baldwin and drive home. A car such as this that was trailered to Motion by a Racer, for Super Stock Modified Production racing as the story tells in CARS magazine; is in a different market altogether.

Now you can probably guess the new owner.

I would not call it a Phase III. More like a Phase IV
Good Luck with the new car.

It would have been very unlikely that such a vehicle would have been sold to the public as a new vehicle, through a new car dealership so the scenario of when the work was done wouldn't apply IMO.

Tim,
Can you add a few more phone lines and is the Red Wagon still for sale?

I heard a vicious rumor that was written on the Supercar Registy bathroom wall that copolocator and MotownMadman are one and the same! Isn't it weird that MotownMadman joined the site I think it was literly the same day that copolocator signed off? Just Kidding. Glad to see you back Tim!
