The rallys dont look right on there. Go with the TT.

Ditto me on not using Rally wheels. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

I like the Rallys on it.
They're a subtle & refreshing wink to the past.

Re: What wheels for our new Yenko

Given the choice of only two, I think the ralleys are my preference. I've seen so many TT's or TT influenced wheel designs these days I have begun to be turned off.

I don't know enough about the challenges of making a custom wheel for the New Camaro, but the TTs as pictured look so much like the same old thing. Maybe a straight spoke, maybe not?

I've always felt you had to have a pretty bad a$$ car to pull of balck rims without looking like a poser. Part of me would love to see what regular old steel hoops could look loike on these cars. Chrome lug nuts or some other accent cap migh be kinda cool.

To come full circle, the ralley would help in giving the car a distinguished look, possibly unique to this special car. Don't worry abot this too much. I think a wheel change is probably the most popular car mod ever. People will buy what they like to look at and put the original wheels aside.

I think alloy rallys with flat bowtie caps would look cool, always wanted a set after I seen them on the '67 chop and hack did on the '67 build they did awhile back.

Neither...keep looking....

Maybe check out the wheels offered by Crager; maybe some old school Crager SS's would look nice. I agree that the TT look is becoming overdone (and I happen to be a big fan of those wheels).
The rallye's would definitely be nice to see on a new car for a change of pace though. Again, not much help in your decision making process; sorry. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

As Stephano said, not much out there that fits the '10 Camaros, which kind of surprised me. As times passes, I am sure that will change though.

From what I can find out, the problem lies in fact that the Camaro has a different bolt partern then most other GM cars, such as the Vette.

Neither! As much as I love Torque Thrusts, the fact that they have come standard on new Ford Mustangs for the past several years just kills that choice. Do you really wanna be known as the guy that put "Mustang wheels" on your new Camaro? Not me! Large diameter Rallys aren't a bad choice, and if done right, might be the answer. Remember......wheels just ABSOLUTELY make or break a car. This is not a budget build, it is a high-dollar car that needs something special at all four corners, even if it has to custom-made and exclusive. That just makes the ride all that more special and afterall, that's what people are writing that huge check for....EXCLUSITIVITY! Maybe a modern reiteration of the classic COPO dog-dish look. Body-colored rims (alloys, but painted to look steel) with "poverty" caps. Think about Jay Leno's Olds Toronado with the modern large-diameter billet wheels that are dead ringers for the original hubcaps. That's neat, and he only did one set! Keep in mind, that these new Yenkos will be copied and the stripes added to many already purchased Camaros (clones of clones?). At least make the new Yenko wheels hard to obtain and exclusive. Good luck with your choice....the eyes of the world are watching and you get one shot at getting this right. Either a Hot Rod Magazine cover shot.....or just a small picture in Roddin' At Random!

That TT look is on everything. They look like factory mustang wheels. Back to drawing board. I agree with a dog dish style.

Yes, my shop built that 1967 Chop and Hack as you have called it. Unfortunately I own the name "Rally" and have had it trademarked. Not to mention I own the patent on the Rally wheel built for the Chop and Hack. I purchased the name from Mr. and Mrs. Rally Wheel before they passed away several years ago. Just kidding.......If you would like more info on that wheel send me a private message.
