Re: 70z 4 sale
[ QUOTE ]
By Rick H...There was no code #28 Fathom Blue in 1970. Mulsanne was not a term used in 1970 for the blue color either... [/ QUOTE ] I really do think that is code #26 Mulsanne Blue on that Camaro. That was the original point of this topic, not the car itself. There sure was a code #28 Fathom Blue in 1970,although it was not used on the 70 Camaro originally,so I'm sure that's what you meant. As for the color code #26 not being named "Mulsanne Blue" in 1970,I'd have to take issue with that,as I have always known that to be a term used to describe one of the 1970 Chevrolet production colors. And here's why.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...code260001.jpg ** Stands for Corvette & Camaro Only |

Looks like Mulsanne Blue was an option all right.

Thanks for the answers guys.
Mr 70 I think your right.Mulsanne Blue it is or close anyway. Must be nice having the Chevrolet archieves at your disposal https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
Re: 70z 4 sale
Ok I stand corrected but it is also shown on other brochures as medium blue. And my post on code 28 was meant for the Camaro in question. Next time I'll elborate to the minute degree.
Point is the car is wrong (and not just the paint)and in my opinion not worth the asking price. Rick H. |
