Depending on where (and which shift) it was built me and my guys might have put the fenders on that one in the factory.

I had the fender set area in Flint, second shift, during that timeframe.

This is just a glimpse into the time commitment required for body work. All panels are stripped and dents worked out, followed by filler to smooth out areas. This gets followed by epoxy primer....

Ducted hood flange

Picked this up yesterday, original assembly-line flange.

Paint is full gloss, REAR decal applied prior to seal installation. Seal glued in place.

I used Polyvance Plastifix to rebuild the bottom...

I used Polyvance Plastifix to rebuild the bottom of the radio opening and knobs where it had been cut out. It also worked great on a cracked wiper switch stud, and a missing tab.
