Rick, just an FYI, there are no real 837 alternators with a September or October of 69 build date. Your L89 would most likely had the 9F date or one of the 2 known 9H dates.

1969 BB smog hoses 3940937 & 3940940 survivor

Really nice pair of original 69 Big Block smog hoses used on Chevelle, Camaro and Nova applications.
These are really nice original hoses with clear legible part number and broadcast code markings....

That shifter is a mixture of Chevelle rods and levers and a Camaro - Nova Shift body.
The rods are 68-72 Chevelle and the levers are 69-72 because of the bolt on design of the levers for 69-up...

In my opinion Mikey is right. It looks like it was altered to look like an 837 and I have never seen any August of 69 dated 837's besides 9H6 and 9H25. That 7 does not look good...
