1970 Chevelle. The graphics are from waiving an aceytlene welder set on rich over the panel then clear coating it...very popular back in the day and done right (and not too much) it looked good.

Car had 14 x6 or 14 x7 reverse(deep dish) wheels up front.Looked good in this case.

Car had that just right stance.

BTW: this car was in an Auto Trader mag several years ago still looking like this. It was being sold from the guys estate.

Dave, the guy painting my hood told me last week he used to do a lot of "smoked" paint graphics using that same technique. Cool stuff, I personally think it looks better on the top side of the car mixed with some stripes or lace or a mural.

Cool patriotic Nova. These flag paint schemes were very popular in 75-76 when these pics were taken...Spirit of '76.

Another car with a good stance.

Possibly pro streeted or maybe even a pro touring style car at this point with multiple prior owners who history of the car is gone...but that being said it's also amazing how many of these old magazine cars are in their original form locked away.

That is how the maroon Fravel 68 Camaro is to this day.

BTW Anyone notice the "flub"/easily corrected error/gaff if you will on the white Nova??? If you can spot it you are detailed minded.
