Could be worse Patrick...could be a Buick...

PS...Patrick I just re-read your post...seems like just a tiny bit of over reaction don't you think ? It was a friendly poke at our MoPar guys...who will be the first to tell you how tinny they are.. No sweat if you don't want your car featured...don't want to cause you any problems anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

No problem! Over the tinny part. I just don't believe anyone wants to hear the car they own "Crappy". And yes I'll pass on the feature. I'm sure there is a long list of cars we all will be interested in reading about.

Lets move on! Patrick

Thumbs down. It doesn't look like a Camaro, just has Camaro-like parts sporadically placed on it. Oh well, Ford nailed the Mustang, and Mopar slammed the Challenger - "two outta three ain't bad".

I own a 1970 HEMI Challenger a didn't really mind the tinny crappy comments. Objectively speaking they are to an extent pretty tin like and were built to a specific price point back in 1970 and not by skilled craftsman either. I always thought that the HEMI engine made up for the shake rattle and roll of the chassis? I also think that they are really no worse than most other 1970 muscle cars in terms of build quality so I didn't find the post offensive. IMHO all muscle cars from that era have their own problems or personality's.

Did anyone catch the new Camaro segment on Daily Planet on the Discovery Channel. They showed some behind the scenes of the development of the car and comments such as they wanted to keep some nostalgia of the old model but wanted to make a contemporary model for the new enthusiests coming into the market, sans GTO idea, which i figured thats what they were aiming at.

Sounds like a plan...I promise I won't call MoPars crappy anymore unless Charley or Colin owns them...Camaros were crappy too...the only cars that were really built well were Belairs.

Don't mess with old farts - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill! Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.
