I forgot to mention another valued member of the sYc team. That is Caleb Arone, our resident supercar artist, who, as always, amazed us all with his artist talent. I beleive Steve's "Incinerator" was among the cars immortalized in ink.

It was for sure! It was a treat to witness Caleb hand the illustration to Steve, and a double treat to see the smile on Steve's face when he accepted it. (I snapped the shot just before he presented the work to Steve)

Now we just need to convince the young man to accept some compensation for his works!

That looks more like the shot of when John P. told Clary his fly was open.

It was good to see you again, Dennis! You witnessed that I tried to pay Caleb for the rendering, but he absolutely refused. He muttered something about his Dad did okay on the parts he sold me.

Glad I wasn't there. I don't want anyone taking pictures of my backside.

I would like to say a "Big" Congrats to ALL the Guys that Won!! The SYC Display area looked GREAT!! Kinda SAD that I didn't bring a car to Represent the group-BUT-it was my wife's turn with her car. I want to Thank All the guys that did come over and see her car('94 Z-28 Modified), GOLD in the Bow Tie Class with we think a ( 995 ) don't know for sure until they send out the judging sheets. Caleb is going to draw her car also and can't wait to see that. Hope everyone made it home safe & sound.

Great cars, great guys.

Thanks, Tom for your help with Vettefest lining up the Auto-Spin and ALL you do for the sYc.

Thanks, Rick for taking care of my signs.

Thanks, Steve for allowing us to showcase the Inciner8tor on the Auto-Spin. I'm confident you'll have more fun with your cars spinning around on that new turntable! Thanks for your business.

Auto-Spin.com for anyone interested in seeing the turntable. How's that for subtle advertising?

I don't take cars to many shows, but might have to take a couple to this one next time......

Dave

In Tom's defense, the shot was taken just as he was checking tire clearance on the HR SS 454. This poor photographer just failed to get the car in the shot. Sorry for the grief you're taking Tom!

It's true Steve tried to pay Caleb for the work, just like a few others had tried to pay him at SCR7. I told him he needed to accept what was offered to him and apply it to the restoration of HIS car!!! Guess we'll have to get sneaky about our "compensations"......

And Mark; I stopped to look at Ginny's Camaro and was greeted by the biggest smile I've seen in quite a while. She noticed my sYc shirt and struck up a quick conversation. A pretty special lady; proud of her car and your collection, as she should be. My congrats to both of you!
