This is already a huge improvement over the old, outdated software. And I'm sure it's going to get better as Rob sorts everything out.

Spiders (order Araneae) are air-breathing chelicerate arthropods that have eight legs, and chelicerae modified into fangs that inject venom. They are the largest order of arachnids and rank seventh in total species diversity among all other groups of organisms.[1] Spiders are found worldwide on every continent except for Antarctica, and have become established in nearly every ecological niche with the exception of air and sea colonization. As of 2008, approximately 40,000 spider species, and 109 families have been recorded by taxonomists;[2] however, there has been confusion within the scientific community as to how all these genera should be classified, as evidenced by the over 20 different classifications that have been proposed since 1900.[3]

It is truly a shame to see where the site as well as others and many of the people here are headed. This used to be called my second home and most all of my friends were found and maintained here. Now we see many of those same people fighting with each other and some of us even having to take legal action to stop others. I also see many instances where people who used to be friends are now against each other solely because of who or what they stood up for on some of these threads. Case in point, EXACTLY where this thread is headed between two people that used to be very good friends. I have friends who voted for Obama. I do not think anything less of them now nor do I beat them up over their decision to vote for him. They are just as entitled to a vote as I am.
What happened to people being able to speak with their opinion and others not holding it against them? What happened to people being able to show their car proudly without fear of people pointing out flaws? What happened to people being able to make comments without fear of reprisal or being banned? To see many of the people that used to call one another best of friends and who are now having to defend their words is really sad on both sides.
People need to climb off their high horses, shake hands and get back to business and that is the preservation and promotion of the muscle car hobby. I don't know half of the behind the scenes stories about what happened to certain individuals here that moved onto other sites and even started their own sites nor do I care. It is a free world. But I do get tired of them fighting publically with each other. Take it privately or better yet………..meet in person and work things out. I do miss when people used to join together for a common cause and not pit others against each other. We ALL.......need to move on, shake hands and let bygones be bygones and get back to what we do best. That being said, BOTH sides need to become more open minded and quit jumping to conclusions about what the other side is doing and/or saying.
This site ‘used’ to be the best on the net bar none. Lately it is carrying a stigmatism that needs to be overcome and return to being the best on the net before it becomes just another battling grounds for very opinionated, close minded and outspoken people. This cannot happen until many of these individuals open their minds and listen to other peoples constructive criticism and not take it personally or simply move on.
The site has changed, let’s change with it and make the best of it. I too think it should have been mentioned before the changes took place just to warn others what to expect as I too thought the site was under siege when I first got on after the change. After numerous phone calls and emails I still did not know what was going on until this thread started. Had word been given, I think likely most all negativism would never have started. Nuff said. I think it is time for men to be men and boys to be babies and either move on or start acting like adults and stop pushing the limits. That goes for BOTH sides and that is what is so sad, there has to be two sides instead of one.
Rick

On the serious stuff, I absolutely can't believe what I've read in some of the postings above!.
The thread content seems to've gone to the dogs more than the site changes have and as much as I feel like commenting on some of it, I'm just gonna' shut up (for once) and say Kudos to the Clarys and Mods for all they do in keeping our little place in cyberspace alive!.

Looking forward to some of the cool new features!

~ Pete

Bingo. I'm not even a Chevy guy, and this is my favorite car forum. That's gotta say something. Doesn't it?
