Great article, but the last paragraph is not correct info. That's not Chassis 70079 (the one Elvis owned) as that car was already in the states when that article was written. Still interesting though!
But another big day; today was VIN assignment day! In the eyes of the DMV, this is now a legal car with a state issued VIN based on the engine serial number. So dare I say, this is a numbers matching car!  It's not everyday you see a 507 on a uhaul! Next up, a safety inspection along with title application. But before that I need to attach the VIN to the door jamb. Now I can get the data tags filled out too. Woohoo!! It's now a real car. Inspection process was fun and created quite a stir with all the officers and others in line coming to check it out. Fun stuff! Cheers Dave PS: up next, Hardtop!
