read somewhere that one of Shelby's senior guys, Peyton Cramer, was out driving this car on an L.A. freeway when the C-6 automatic suddenly shifted into Low at 70 mph. The car did a few 360s and wound up backwards in the median. Cramer walked back to the shop and told the crew to go get it because he wouldn't drive the car again.

They said that the lincoln wasent damaged as the curtain actually protected it from the pole.
