I don't think anyone here is questioning how nice this car is, it's a beautifully done car. The issue here is that you changed the trim tag. A trim tag should never be changed on a car for any reason.....you already state that the car is a clone or tribute so why change the tag? For me personally, I would stay far away from any car that has had the trim tag changed, and I'm sure many others feel the same. The car itself is absolutely beautiful but I think you should re install the original tag to avoid problems down the road....the car is what it is and having the original tag won't hurt a thing.

Should have mentioned in the first post that the car was a tribute. It wasn't mentioned for several pages so the confusion and question asking is a result of that as well as the TT.
The car is fantastic, BTW. |

I did not start this post,if you notice the first time I said anything. I said it was a recreation. I build cars for people and build them how they want them. I will do nothing illegal when building them and what they do with them when they get them is their business. |

That's what the honest people on this board are trying to guard against.

I'm curious. What codes were on the original tag?

I looked through the scheduled price lists for 66. Interesting that marina blue, lemonwood yellow and chateau slate are listed as not available on belair and biscayne in the first printing. However, later in the model year they are listed with certain interiors as an "acceptable combination"! Learned something new. I have only one Marina Blue biscayne in my list that I could find. No bel airs.
