As usual…just got this message…

Hi, it's just slow going right now. I've been working a lot on the engine Bay area. The rest of the car Body is about 90% ready to paint Except for the doors. The 2 fenders are done and look great with the white stripes.

Glad to hear that he is ok!

You'll have a driver that you won't need to be concerned about getting wet or dirty. After the POR 15 peels off, you can start the correct resto.

That appears to be a 69 subframe. Also looks like a small balancer too. Wasn't this the original engine?

It is the original drivetrain and yes, he knows he put a 350 balancer on it when he freshened the motor - "that's all I had in the shop" was his rationale. We've never discussed the subframe.
