Neat old photos! The black 68 Charger even has the National Hemi Owners Association vanity plate. Awesome cars. Where was that photo of your black car taken? That black Superbird next to your car looks familiar. I think I've seen it before. Here's my old high school parking lot photo. Which one of these is not like the others? ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Nothing like a Superbird parked next to the Family Truckster!!! Do I spy a '71 GTX in that line up as well?

It was a 72 Roadrunner. The other side of the lot had a T/A Challenger, two brand new Z28s (rich kids), a 68 Camaro, a 71 429 Cobrajet Mustang, a 340 Duster, a 440+6 Cuda, a 65 442, a 64 Chevelle...and the list goes on. The good old days!

Rob,
Yes I remember your dad. We still do some towing for the Elk Grove Village Police department. Your older brother's name was Rich? I think I remember the 68 400 Firebird. There sure were a lot of "Green" cars back then! We still do a lot of muscle cars for customers. Thanks for the memories. Now if I can only figure out how to scan that picture from Union Grove & post it... Bill Pankiw |
