Warren, when I stopped no one was home and did not think it wise to open the door or hood to get that information hoping instead the owner would call me. So far that has not happened and the car is now back in the barn. I am told by people who know the car from back in the 90's say that it does not have the original engine in it. Not sure about the trans which was a Turbo 400. I have not given up but never seem to time it right when the owner is home and numerous calls have gone unanswered.

I wish I had kept track of VIN's starting back in the 70's as I had MANY of these cars pass through my fingers and knew about many others. I just never figured one day someone would have a registry. Ditto on the LS6 Chevelles.
