Thanks Scott...They are the G70 15 White stripe Firestone Super Wide Oval as installed by Yenko Chevrolet...it was part of the conversion package. We found the original spare in the trunk...so it took alot of help from many people on this site such as Matt Lamer, Brian Potter, Tom Sholtz, Frank Arone to locate 4 original superb tires ...in all they came from Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Frank started putting the inner fenders together. One down and one to go.

They look great. I know you care, so just a comment... I think your staples should be painted. Here are a couple pics of my originals.

Dave, I think you are comparing 67 to 69. There is a difference. My guess is that they are different between 67-69

Default Staple Maniac

The assembly line worker must’ve been smoking dope or brand new to his job

FYI - this is a cropped portion of some original photos from an early 68 Z that was upon purchase converted to race form. This photo was taken just before parts were removed. You can see the staple just to the left of the heater hoses. Unfortunately I am not a liberty to share the complete photo.

I am getting a photo of the other inner fender...it is hilarious to see what the assembly line worker was (smoking) when he had a field day with the staple gun. Lol
