Tell me about it. My daughter was in second grade when she helped me rebuild the engine. She enters senior high this Fall.

That's one way to keep the miles down!

Stopped by the shop today. The paint is still curing. He is waiting til Monday to start the 1000 grit sanding, and then spray the final white coats on it. Then, some more cure time and color sand/polishing.

The lower body lines came out very well. The line runs from the front fender all the way to the rear and is a very subtle scalloped body line that usually gets lost in the bodywork process and becomes a slab sided look.

1000 grit then more paint? I've never used that technique myself but I'm by no means an expert. I am always leary painting over any scratch finer than 600 grit, even on fresh paint.

Looking good, almost there! Now get that thing out of my car's way! I feel a batch of Hugger Orange being mixed up soon!
