Just wanted to updated everone. I received the letter today from Joel Rosen. I have tried to attach acopy but attempts seem to fail. Anyway this is how the letter reads. Dear Mr. Metelits
In regard to your 1970 Chevrolet Nova serial #114xxxx. As we have discussed in our many telephone conversations a search of our records and your statement that the car was sold new by a dealer other than Baldwin Chevrolet has eliminated the possibilty that the car was sold new by the baldwin Motion Performance Group. However with the pictures and numbers you have provided me with, I believe (as we discussed) the car was brought to us (Motion Performance Inc) at some period in it's life for modifications similar to those we did on Baldwin Motion cars. Good luck with your musclecar. signed; Joel Rosen President of Motion Performance. Also letter is on old Motion Performance Inc letter head address 598 sunrise Highway, Baldwin L. I. N. Y. |

here is the text that should go with this photo;
"Just wanted to update everybody about my car. I contacted the third owner again and they found a picture of car back from 1983 when second owner had car. You can see in the picture the car has traction bars and headers. It has a sticker in the rear qrt glass and I wanted to know if anybody know what it is? By the way the picture is dated Mar 1983. [/ QUOTE ] Robbie I would suggest NOT posting the letter from Joel as scammers may attempt to copy it for no good. Joel wont be around forever and we dont want to see dozens of "authenticated" cars in the future. JMHO. |
