I have been riding now for two days, and almost to Vegas. I thought about this thread when I looked thru the CD's and pulled out another all time favorite. "The best of the Guess Who". Who hear over 45 has not had at least a couple "good times" while listening to the Guess Who? LOL
Makes me want to hunt up a couple phone numbers of some old high school cheerleaders.......

Charley,
Nice digs here at your hotel!!! I told them I was you, they said they did not expect me so soon, but that it was fine to be a bit early, and they had all the credit info, so make myself at home. See you when you get here. Just knock.

BTW, I upgraded me uh you to the big suite!! Really nice

Hey Mosport, since you started this thread with a request for "bootleg" recordings, after much research I found this bootleg video of Charlie, stolen from his local Stop and Rob. The audio was awful, so it was redubbed.

Let us not forget Jeff Healey in this list. Awesome licks.
I've managed to hang on to an ES 335 through the years. Need to dust it off, now, and tune it up.

[ QUOTE ]
George Thorogood also played locally at a place called Joe Pops. Actually many famous musicians played at Pops, anyone here ever go to the place in Ship Bottom on LBI?

[/ QUOTE ] Heck yeah Sam, I vacation with friends for a week in LBI every year. We usually make a stop in Joe Pops, the Quarterdeck, and Buckalews. LBI has one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in the US, it's certainly not the "dirty Jersey shore" that so many people seem to think it is for whatever reason. All of South Jersey is beautiful IMO. It's just really been getting tough to find affordable rental properties on LBI the last few years. Got any cheap rental units ya wanna hook me up with for a week next July?

Oh...and BTW, anyone who likes the classic southern rock sound but may want to try something new, I suggest you give a listen to a band from Kentucky called "My Morning Jacket." They're sort of a cross between Skynyrd, the Allmans, and maybe a little swirl of Floyd with a hint of Jackson Browne...hard to compare to anyone else, they're truly a unique sound with an outstanding front man named Jim James. They're the best newer band out there if you ask me.
