Another one of my favorite Day 2 cars, seen in the same 1982 Camaro special issue magazine from the east coast.

Love the blacked-out Torque Thrusts.

Cal Custom valve covers will never go out of style.

I've thought of buying a VFN Stinger hood just to hang it in my garage and worship...

The one that Rick's sells now is the very high quality one... the one that is finished on the inside, not just the outside, like the cheaper ones.

I have 6 pictures of it here...

Camaro Specialties in East Aurora NY also has the stinger hood. It's correct to a tee.

There is no comparison. Although on the outside VFN's looks correct it is not correct underneath in relation to the originals. The ones Camaro Specialties sells is correct both top and bottom.

We're getting a little distracted here, but the one that Rick's First Gen sells is from the guy in NC that people here said is the correct hood (see pictures on my '68 Camaro page). There's also been talk that the inside of some of the Motion Stinger hoods was *not* finished. And now I also found mention that in '67 there were some that where riveted to steel hoods.

Wow...the Kelly N-50/15's on "Crystal Blue Persuader" brought me back! That's what I had on the back my 1st car ('74 Camaro, placer gold...white letters in at that time though) in '87.

I wish I would have nabbed them off of the car before I sold it...there was a perfect set of 'older style' Keystone Klassic 15X10's holding them in place.

"The Mint" I also remember..I was between 10 and 11 at the time and thought it was gaudy then. Why would a guy spend so much money on bondo and 'glass' and not spring for both carbs.....too disco'y IMHO.

Still cool to see though!

Just picked these up for my 70 Z Day 2 project. This just about completes the exterior stuff.
