I didn't get there until 7ish and alot of those were gone and others came in. it usually has alot of nice cars for sure.. and free to display and see. that makes it nice to take the kids along, buy an ice cream cone and browse the sites.. thanks for posting bruce.. nice shots.

Bruce you are a good guy and a true enthusiast, I hope you get a car soon. Don't feel bad though. My father had to put his hobby of cars on hold from 1970 till 1997 so he could raise the kids! Your day will come!

Hey 427TJ...this emblem's pretty cool, eh?

I love those 427 '66 Impalas, especially with the N96 mag wheelcovers. Yes Bruce, I have two of those 427 Turbo Jet emblems and maybe someday I will have a reason to put them on my '67.

I thought I read this cars story somewhere that it is a 1 of 1 car that was salvaged from a junkyard somewhere (canada???).. many years ago and pieced back together??? Thinking the story was in one of the mid 80s muscle car mags. Anyone remember that?

This car was in the Otis Chandler collection, and was in Randy Leffingwell's book "American Muscle".
The book says that it's one of two, the other one being lost in a fire. Last year for the Coronet rag top, and rare because it had a base price of $3800, but with all of the options added in, listed for over $6100!
The Charger and the Challanger both got you more bang for the buck, because they had option "packages".
Too bad they didn't get an interior shot, the pistol grip shifter is muy macho.
