68 L89 Camaro just went for $69K. I noticed the master cylinder wasn't correct and it had 69 tailpipes so I don't know how correct the car really was.

Actually $80,000.00 worth of correctness if you add in all the premiums..

Corvette Bronze.....only available after Jan. '68. Same color as mine. :-)

I sure thought Eds cars would've brought mo money ?? Maybe I don't know anything about the market? They sure looked nice though.

Very Cool Charlie . Glad to see you're signed on as our official B-J news correspondant. (that's Barrett-Jackson before the flames start....) Speaking of flames, If I were the owner of those cars in the transport fire, I'd be sitting in my closed garage with whatever car I had left...engine on.

WOW!! What a great day at Barrett-Jackson! I am sure that some of you saw the 69 Z28 Cross Ram JL8 car sell for $112,000!! That has got to make you happy Jeff H! What an intense bidding war on that car! So far no real record breaker for COPO's or the L89 68 Camaro.

We need to thank Charley for all the coverage - we should buy him one of those YELLOW jackets!!! Amazing price for that Z, but that's great, it keeps the value of these cars going up.

The 68 L89 and the Crossram Z were from the same seller. I and many others would never buy a car from him. Last year at Monterey he had a Astro Blue LS6 convert with Protecto plate. Same car he got at BJ as a Gobi Beige car with no paperwork the year before.. He is absolutely the best at dolling up Auction cars.
