WOW,What a SHOW!!!! Brian Henderson says every year that this is the SHOW for the East Coast and he ain't lying!!! The BOYZ of Latrobe always set the bar for others to achieve and my GOD, Joe's DICK HARRELL Camaro was nothing but F%#@ING INCREDIBLE. And boy did it have a SWEET neighbor. Frank Arone's AWESOME COPO Camaro. But I would say my highlight to the Show was Frank's son Caleb. His son has such a talent that goes beyond words. Aside from his father,Caleb's idol is Ed "BIG DADDY" Roth and boy can he draw the most amazing pictures. So to my surprise I arrive at the Show to be handed a picture that Caleb drew for me with me coming out of the roof of a 69 Yenko camaro with my Yenko earing and yenko tatoo, doing a BIG FAT BURNOUT.It was also great to talk with Ed Hedrick for a couple of hours about the GOOD OL RACE days of the past. I can't wait for next years SHOW. I could go on and on , but you guys that missed it this year should make a point to attend next years."MOF"

The Mayor is right...York was a great show, great cars, great facility, great turnout, and great people. Perhaps a future east coast Supercar Reunion should be considered, might draw some new cars out of hiding and the "Back Easties" seem to really embrace this kind of thing.

Just curious...did a certain '68 funny car show out while loading or unloading? Knowing it's owner, I'd be surprised if it didn't...

I would like to thank everyone that attended the show on behalf of the Supercar Registry. The cars that were part of this years group were very special. One thing that was a definite highlight was Cackle Fest. About every three hours the East wing would fire up Bill Stiles Hemi race cuda'. BUT on the West wing the job was done with Tom Clary's new 68' Dick Harrell/Courtesy Funny Car. That car is LOUD inside a building!.. It would bring the crowd to a roar after each and every run. I still can't believe they let us do that. Joe was the seat man for the firing. I even had a turn. What a rush. As a group, the Supercar Registry won the best Musclecar Award. The judges told me that they could not pick a winner from our group. So the entire Registry was awarded the trophy. It is in transit to Alton MO. It will be on display at the reunion. Next years event will be in the new York Fairground building that is even bigger than the old one. We will once again be invited to take part in this event. Anyone interested in next years event should contact me early to reserve a slot. Thanks again to all the people that made this years event...BKH

I could not believe my eye's when I walked into the building. I didnt know which way to go(left or right)Like a little boy in a candy store. This was Very impressive and if I new this was going to be this good I dont think I would have gone to the Mopars at Carlisles. The DH car was drop dead gorgeous and couldnt take my eye's off this car
I was Very impressed with Brians restorations. Hands down some of the best work I have seen in years. Brian thanks for your time after the worm up LOL !!
The best is after the trophy's when the guy said its 9:30Pm and we have to be out by 10:00Pm. Watching them start up and the sounds in the building made you feel fuzzy all over. I know where I will be next year. Thanks guys !!!

RichP, did you buy any cars at the show?

Yea, the breakdown at the end is the best part, but unlike VetteFest there are no 'smoke' activities upon exiting the building The next best part is watching the cars come in on Thurs. and Fri. I think next year the show will start earlier, so the setup will be compacted - should be interesting!

If there is one show that makes me desire a Ford it is this show! It takes a few months to wear off, but right now I have an itch for a 63.5 R-Code Galaxie And I may have just found one while driving over to my shop the other night

Marlin, I think Ben looked right at home in the big ol' Galaxie. Those cars have a lot of eyeball. They are very hard to find parts for. The FE engines are cool, but the initials stand for F*#@ing Expensive. Rich P you are welcome to hang around the Registy. I enjoyed our talk and I am honored you enjoyed the DH 427 and the COPO. I know you have seen a lot of cars. I am looking forward to next years show...BKH
