Just about finished under the car.......By moving the trans cross member back a couple inches, it now made the E-Brake cable way too long.........had to cut it to suit and make a new stop feature for locking the cable........worked out perfectly.....
![]() ![]() The transmission cooler lines are in and installed......Just needs trans fluid...... ![]() ![]() Also got the heater valve and lines finished up also...... ![]() ![]()

I had given Dewitt's the information on where the mounting holes needed to be on the radiator I purchased for my `65. Andy's radiator spacer should be the same. Dewitt's evidently did not save these measurements for the next job.

The Hydra Boost set up has not shown up as of yet. I'll be calling on Monday. Almost six weeks since I placed the order. They must be in demand. Hope it gets here soon. I want to really get a chance to drive my Impala before it needs to be tucked away for winter.

Where are you purchasing the Hydraboost from? I'm contemplating the same, and what brake set-uo do you have?

Is the hydroboost a modified version or a stock application for some recent car?

Andy, the Hydraboost setup I purchased is from Hydratech. The unit is built specific to your car. As far as brakes go, I've got a pretty basic front disk conversion kit that I installed on my `65 years ago. I do not remember who I got it from. With the cam that comes in the 480hp LS3 there's just not enough vacuum to use a vacuum brake booster. The Hydrabooster should solve the brake issue.

Yeah, that looks like they modify and adapt an existing application to fit your setup. The actual boost unit itself looks just like the one in my '95 diesel Suburban. I had to replace the 'burb's unit a month ago after 134,000 miles of good service, and only because it started dripping from a rear seal.
