Wow, those are some cool shots, reminds me of being a kid in the 50's.

re; The Goodyear service store shown in that link, can anyone recognize what city that is ? It's not Akron, Ohio.

I have this pic too. Very cool. Notice the blimp in the center on a display I guess.

Dog427435, post# 554551 sure as heck looks like Gettysburg. And when i went to Strasburg Railraod this summer, a guy has a little bit of a later model good humor truck and was out side of the train museum selling ice cream. He was wearing the old time white outfit with the coin belt and everything. I asked the guy who redid the truck, and he said he did, and he has 2 of them!

A guy over on garagejournal.com forums has been posting a bunch of old garages in various states of repair/disrepair around VA / NC. Pretty Cool.

These need to come back...are there any still in working condition anywhere? There were still 2 left in my area up to about 10 years ago both on route 113 a few miles out of south Dover.

Shouldn't be too far from you.
Always at least 1 show or cruise in the summer, along with a classic movie.
2013 was "Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World"

If this is the one I'm thinking about in Detroit you wouldn't catch me there any time of the year. It's in a very rough part of town.
