71 Judge sales price with buyer's premium: $217,250.00
Only one other has been reported as selling, for 300k, and it was 300k in trade to my understanding. No track record of actual cash sales... so, how can a market really be established when there are (almost) no sales?? Yes, I was offered and have seen project cars in the past, but only one "done" car - the 3x White one, has changed garages. Disclaimer: To MY knowledge! LOL PLUS, again, the car in NH was GREEN, AUTO, older resto...didn't "grab" you. When you start spending 200k+ on cars, most guys want a car that "jumps" out at you. Like a Rallye Green or Hugger Orange car. When I was a young punk just starting in the car business, we learned about color fast! We referred to green and brown cars as "never gonna leave green" and "stick around brown". Being here in Milwaukee, a good portion of them were AMC's or (worse yet) Renault Alliance/Encores (AKA "Appliances"). Not a good combo. LOL Colin |

Colin is right, there is nothing to base a market on. With only 2 of the known 3 four speeds in existance not readily for sale, and then you get into the blane colored autos. Add those two things with a lack of sales and certainly not publicly disclosed, that is why this particular car was of interest. A public auction.
Six figures are thrown around for a couple of the nicer ones, and then you have a couple of rust buckets. There are still about 4 totally unaccounted for, another 2 or 3 not entirely in the know. |

How much did Weiman pay for the white one? I thought it was around 150 or less?

There were 3 71 Judge Convertible 4 speeds made. Kevin Suydam has one, Gary Daniels has one, and one is lost indefinitely.
If some one were to make a $ 350,000.00 offer on the Quezal 4 speed, they will most likely drive it home. How about that? It is a very nice car. |
