America was once a great county But the politicians the special interest groups have all but screwed it up big time Now tonight was watching Jim Gamer mad money and he is now talking about a depression come on that will make what happen in 1929 look like a walk in the park. How much will the American people take before it gets way out of hand
That why I asked about Canada I think the next few years here is going be ruff
Just look at the price of Diesel fuel The truckers who drive for a living are getting hammered It seem that every thing in America today is one big rip off and jobs are leaving here to other countries for cheaper labor No one in our government cares for the middle class working stiff
I realy dont think Canada could not be any worse

Don't watch Jim Gamer .....

Listen to Paul Harvey . He starts his Noon broadcast with "Hello Americans"... He ain't talkin to no one else.

Norm, America is still a great Country (not county) and always will be. I wouldn't worry about silly politicians, they like to talk and scare people. Call them up and let them know your going to vote them out of office asap. If you want to listen to a money man, listen to Dave Ramsey.

You're complaining about fuel prices? They're higher here. Special interest groups? Ever hear of Quebec?? Our stronger dollar is actually creating a doom and gloom attitude here. A gallon of chocolate milk costs you $4, and you'll have to cough up another 11% for tax!

Look before you leap. I often wished that I lived in the states.

Well Norm what Peter said! There you go. Not always better on the other side. Just keep plugging along Norm and write letters to your Senators and Congressman.

That might be your ticket. Sounds like a law suit to me.

There is another one of the differences between the 2 societies. We are not a litigious bunch and if if we were the law prevents such lawsuits fro wasting the time of the court.

I was born and raised in Montreal and have been to 84 cities in 16 countries and to me, North America is by far THE BEST place to live, be it Canada or the USA. Each has it quirks, up & down sides but all in all we are extremely lucky to live on this part of the Americas.

All in all do what is best for you and your family and keep in mind that all that seperates Americans & Canadians is an imaginary line as we really are the same in many, many ways.

Age discrimination doesn't sound like a waste of time to me. I'm no law expert but I don't think someone can tell you your too old for a job in an interview. They can ask your age but cannot use that as a reason not to hire.

Thought about it but first of all you have to prove it and the amount of time and money spent I think it best to just say to yourself that the person that said that is a big MORON and just move on going to court will not find a job any faster
also the person that said that WILL Be getting old two so what goes around comes around I feal it just best to move on and not waste engery over some moron

Norm, the grass IS always greener on the other side of the fence. However, it is still just grass.
