You could always ask him. I would think he would be stoked. I bet he would have built many like this if someone forked over the coin!

Since it is a REAL Motion Car I'll bet he wouldn't care at all...

I think Joel would be proud to know one of his cars still lives as a race car & proudly wears his shops name. I would put " Motion Performance & the old address & phone # "But that's just my opinion ! I know it'll be super cool no matter what you do.

No disrespect meant to the car or the owner but, am I the only one who thinks it's sad that a Motion Camaro has been turned into a Pro-Streeter? To each his own I guess but, I hate to see old street sweepers like a Motion Camaro modified so extensively.

No disrespect taken. I think owning a real 'original' Motion car would be great also.
Unfortunatly, I can't afford both & my real passion is Pro-Street, so I figure
I have the best of both worlds; a Real Motion Pro Streeter.

Besides, after seeing the 'NEW' Motion car is full chassis & injected with a wide body.
Mine is full chassis & injected with a narrowed rear ... PLUS a supercharger.
So, Joel is almost there. LOL

That's right build it how you like it!!! Or you can just give it to me & build yourself a custom chassis fiberglass bodied race car just like it.

The great part of this project is that I am actually gonna drive it on the street.
The motor & trans is old & new school mix. A Blown 331 with custom built EFI set up on the radical side of pump gas.
(93 octane, not 110)

Followed by a Fairbanks Clutch-Turbo with a McLeod Hyd. T.O.B.

& a 9" with 5.14 gears.

The NEW 22x33x15 Mickey Thompson street radials should cut down that gear a little.
(I used to drive this car with a crashbox & 5.87's with 31 tall tires, this should be a Cadillac compared to that)

Vinnie from Hot Bodies is trying to get me to Bowling Green for the Hot Rod Reunion in June.
That would be very cool. I have been wanting to bring the car there for a while now.

I got most of the car back from the paint shop. Left the doors & nose there so I can put it together & have less parts to scratch.

Still working on the garage. Man, I have a lot of 'stuff'!

The Camaro just fits in there. I cleaned up more today.

I pulled the rear & front out so I can start detailing & final assembly.

Put it on dollys to be able to move it.
These are good up until I am ready to install the drivetrain, Then it goes on tires.

Wish me luck & patience & ambition & ...
