I had the pleasure to talk to the 2nd owner of my car. He bought it in 72. He sent these pictures to me just now. How cool to see the car as it was back then. The only thing that was changed were the wheels. Everything else was still stock. Check it out.

You have an awesome car "D", I am glad I stopped by on the way home from Vett Fest to see Her. But I noticed the wheels are not the only thing that has changed??? Look at the spoiler.. Just playing with you bud, I love the car and I wish I had one just like it. Thanks for showing the car to Mike and I. Know you have to come by after the reunion so I can show you my s--t piles. Mark

Wow...these pics are far better than any of Xplantdad`s.

My opinion is if your going to bring her all back to original....than that means the spoiler too. I love it.

Dan.

Frank- The car spent most of its life in Decatur Il. Someone prior to me did a title search so I have most of them. The guy that sent the pics said he has owned over 20 musclecars. Very nice fellow.

Dan- Short spoiler huh? Easier said than done. If 3M blue painters tape will cover up the quarter holes I might consider it.

Sam- I was wondering that myself. Looks like the tips might have been removed??

Sam, I'm quite sure that ALL the 70 Camaro SS 396's got the chrome tailpipes......and I'm pretty sure the SS-350 (L-48) did also.....but need more survivor/original pictures.
