Went to a hot dog stand just outside Chicago and got 2 dogs everything/hot and there was ketchup on it and I bit it and stopped right there. It tasted too sweet or something, it was wrong. Took them back up and explained to the day one immigrant what everything meant. No Ketchup/catsup red colored goo on the dog, fries absolutely but not the dog. I like the hot dog that comes from the restaurant chain here in the Chicago suburbs Portillos. I think they're menu contains alot of very good Chicago style food.

Hot dogs as a Jersey art form- boiled with sauerkraut and mustard, boiled with ketchup, mustard, and relish, boiled with chili, onions and cheese. broiled in the same variety, grilled in the same variety, and Italian Style with potatoes, cheese, peppers and onions, sauce etc.
